Kin Canada & Cystic Fibrosis Canada

60 Years of Partnership

We are incredibly grateful for 60 years of partnership with KIN Canada. Your support, from over 370 clubs, 8 Districts and 4700 members have helped raise over $52m for cystic fibrosis research and support across the last 60 years – thank you!

KIN Canada’s strong support over the past 60 years has made a huge difference in the lives of Canadians with cystic fibrosis and their families. Without the commitment of our Kin friends, we would not have progressed as far as we have in the fight against cystic fibrosis. You have added years to the lives of children and adults with cystic fibrosis and because of YOU there is hope for people with CF to live longer, better lives.

A note from our CF/Kin Liaison, Brandon...

"I joined Kin Canada in 2018 and became a member of the Stayner Kinsmen club. I had no prior knowledge of Kin or of Cystic Fibrosis before joining, but quickly learned of CF and the partnership our two organizations have. I decided to jump headfirst into fundraising for Cystic fibrosis, helping chair local Galas and auctions at first. Within a few years I was the Cystic Fibrosis director for our District alongside another young, dedicated member. Over the past 7 years I’ve been able to get educated a great deal on CF and how it not only affects patients but also their families.

I’ve absolutely loved going to all sorts of Cystic Fibrosis events and meeting so many amazing people who are living every day with CF. It’s been incredible to hear the stories, and to know that Kin Canada members can proudly say we have helped make a difference in the lives of so many of these individuals. I am excited to take on the National Liaison role over the next two years and helping to spread awareness for cystic fibrosis to all that will listen to me, and I look forward to continuing the path of having CF stand for “Cure Found”
